2nd Prize in "Mobile Phone" Category – Xposure International Photography Festival

I got the 2nd Prize in the "Mobile Category" at the Xposure International Photography Festival. Receiving the award from Deputy Ruler of the emirate of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, is a true honor.

It was a 5-day trip to the UAE. The Organizer - Sharjah Media Bureau - covered all the expenses, including Travel, Food, and Accommodation. The exhibition was mindblowing with participants from all over the world.

The Photo - Plastic Bottle Recycling - described as: A woman worker sorts used plastic bottles in a recycling factory. She helps to prevent the bottles from being discarded, sent to landfill, where they can take 1,000 years to biodegrade, or incinerated, which produces toxic fumes. The emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases will be reduced if recycling takes place in the production of new plastics. This small yet significant act supports environmental sustainability by promoting a responsible cycle of reuse, reducing the strain on natural resources, and safeguarding our ecosystem for future generations.

It was an incredible experience to meet industry experts - Photographers, Artists, Curators, Photojournalists, Art Directors, and Filmmakers.

This recognition motivates me to continue pushing boundaries, exploring new perspectives, and contributing to the vibrant tapestry of the global photography community. Keep me in your prayers.
